Founding President · CS Student Association (CSSA)
Aug 2025 – May 2026Built CSSA into NMSU's main CS community and moved the department's student organizing from faculty-run to student-run: an officer team of ten, roughly 60 students an event, Google sponsoring the operating budget, and hackNMSU, the university's first hackathon.

Sep 2024 – May 2025Facilitated bi-weekly meetings for 30+ students, focused on competitive programming and technical skills.

Aug 2023 – May 2026Represented the College on the NMSU Strategic Planning Board and advocated for CS at community events.
Peer Mentor · TRIO Student Support Services
Aug 2023 – May 2024Mentored 35 STEM students in Java and C problem-solving; earned CRLA Level 1 certification.
